** OUR STORIES **

ADVENTURE 1: And The Sun Went Out

Approximately 600,000 words and 2,400 choices in total!

What if the sun inexplicably vanished only to return hours later? Investigate with your AI companion, Moti. Uncover conspiracies. Discover ancient religions. Travel the globe.

Find out who is murdering scientists and what this has to do with the random disappearances of the sun. This is your journey, and only your choices can expose the truth.

ADVENTURE 2: And Their Souls Were Eaten

You have a gift. With your gift, the dead are never truly gone.

But what if there is a dark side to your gift? What if there are those who can pervert your talent, and alter the balance of life and death?

Travel across a steampunk 1830s Europe, where metal is magical, giving powers to those who wear it. Learn more about your ancient gift and what it means for you, your family, and humanity. Uncover the nefarious plot to destroy all life... and fight against time to stop your enemy from destroying everything you hold dear.

ADVENTURE 3: And Their Heroes Were Lost

You wake up in a dirty prison cell with no memory of who you are. And, youre not alone. Who are the other prisoners? What are they to you? Are they your allies... or enemies?

Will you escape? Try to find out who you are? Why did the people who captured you steal your memories—instead of just killing you? Travel the world as you uncover the details of a past that holds many secrets, and a future that is in peril.

"What’s really innovative about Choices...unlike traditional gamebooks that have a definite end, Choices: And the Sun Went Out is a continuing gamebook that will be updated weekly, allowing you to progress through the story over time. As you make choices in your story, it will advance in ways completely differently than other readers when weekly content is added." - PocketTactics.com

Pros and cons of Choices That Matter app for iPhone and iPad

Choices That Matter app good for

I was becoming more and more disappointed, as well as sure that I wouldnt be renewing my subscription as the very short updates continued recently. When being made to pay for a subscription in the first place, as well as made to wait an entire week for more play time, one expects a certain level of awesome... And until this week, the 5 minutes of play given with each update was very frustrating, to say the least. My sincere advice is to continue releasing more and more content with each update, I expect at least 15 minutes a week if Im to continue renewing and paying for the app. When this happens, I promise youll get a 5-star, all-positive review from me. PLEASE no more 5 minute episodes! I dont think asking for 15 minute minimum is asking very much. Thanks! And keep up the amazing story, too :)
A very thrilling game, well worth the subscription! I wish Moti had more interactivity on my wrist, though.
Well worth it, its not particularly expensive and the storyline is actually really great in my opinion. Im enjoying it, and I hope they come out with more updates soon because I like binge-read the beginning and cant wait for more!
Awesome app, really love the storyline but since the last update it keeps crashing and wont let me continue the story. Please fix!
I really like the concept of the game and the storyline. It would be nice to have a reminder page of what was before the new arc parts. It is hard to remember what you were doing a week before =)
I got this game because I saw it on the Apple Watch store. That being said, the use of the Apple Watch does not interest me. That being said, the game when just using moti on your phone is great.

Some bad moments

Mediocre story and lack of ambience dont make me feel interested at all and the text has spelling mistakes and grammar problems.
I feel that no matter what I choose, the outcome will ultimately be the same. Therefore, playing this game seems like an utter waste of time.
Didnt enjoy and found the subscription a little too pricey for my liking. Also, the game doesnt save to your phones screen like normal apps. Took forever to find it (in the newsstand) to delete the stupid game.
I was looking forward to playing this game, thinking itd be like Lifeline, but after giving it ten minutes, I had to delete this app because it was just a disappoint. I downloaded it to use with my Apple Watch, but its basically tap tap, switch to watch. Tap tap, switch to phone. Rinse and repeat. Its frustrating to switch back and forth and theres no point to invest in the story. Avoid this game if possible.
I cannot get this app to download on my Apple Watch and now its saying that it wont load the second act and that Im having Internet connection issues. Other than that this app is fantastic.
This is probably by far the worst game Ive ever downloaded. Not only did it start off as rather confusing, it was nothing more than constantly switching between my phone and watch. Perhaps there was a decent story, but it was too frustrating to look back and forth.
